Ana has been wonderful and given Dad over a year more in his own home, living with a good level of independence and control. “Having used an agency the past few months, I came across Looking4Care and spoke to Andrew. He suggested that it would be better to have two carers, not four carers, as this would confuse my parents. After a few days, I noticed a difference in them. I would highly recommend Looking4Care.”

Looking4Care was literally, for us, like a breath of fresh air when I needed to find urgent at-home care for my 97-year-old mother. Charlotte and Andrew made it so easy, and fast, I was amazed. It is a care service, not an “agency”, and I was delighted that there was no tedious and lengthy paperwork to read and sign. I can always reach Charlotte and Andrew immediately when needed, and the carers that Mum has had so far have been lovely. It can take a few tries sometimes to find a suitable carer, and we are almost there! Mum is happy, and I am too, and I have so much more peace of mind that she is no longer alone and will get all the help she needs. I am so grateful I went to this care company for my mum’s care.

The carers that looked after our dear father were exceptional and adapted to the changing needs and situation that our father found himself in. Caring was the number one priority; professional and always thoughtful and respectful. Always thinking about what are the needs of this person and what his needs will be in the near future. They took on all the duties required, including personal hygiene, cooking, feeding, washing, providing company, and keeping my dad’s flat in good order. We would be happy to recommend your service, especially to anyone who finds themselves in our situation.

I want to thank Charlotte and Andrew for the wonderful care that we have had for the past eight months looking after my mother. The carer went on annual leave for a three-week holiday and was replaced by another carer who was just as good. This was a big relief to me and my family. I would highly recommend Looking4Care.

We have dealt with a few care companies, who provide live-in care for elderly people with illnesses such as dementia, which is what our mother is suffering from. The majority of companies have been efficient and tried to accommodate the right carer for the problems that are there. However, it must be said that Looking4care have exceeded our expectations right from the start. Apart from being extremely helpful, kind and polite, they have put in place a first class carer, who our mother took to immediately, and has gone from a struggling person with dementia, to a much brighter and happier person with dementia, thanks to the individual care that is second to none. Well done Looking4care, highly recommended.

Our carer has provided Monday-to-Friday daytime care for my wife for almost three years, since her dementia symptoms first became apparent. As my wife now needs to move into a care home, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the care and support she has provided. Our carer has been an invaluable and positive presence in our lives. She is punctual, reliable and efficient, and having her own vehicle has been essential for taking my wife to medical appointments, dementia clubs and other activities. She has always managed my wife’s medication carefully and consistently, prepared a variety of delicious meals and helped with light cleaning around the house. She also kept us informed about any food and cleaning supplies that needed to be purchased. Importantly, our carer took the initiative to find suitable dementia clubs and activities, taking my wife to one or more activities each weekday. This provided valuable stimulation, companionship and enjoyment. We are extremely grateful for her dedication, kindness and the positive difference she has made to our lives over the past three years. I would happily recommend her to any family looking for a dependable, caring and capable carer.
